Prepared designs tp define the scale and character of 'hamlets' proposed as part of a masterplan for a 450 acre, 7000 dwelling units, low density new settlement in a greenfield site near Exeter. Key aspects of the project included, creation of its detailed place identity through preparation of design codes. This followed from after meeting the environmental regulations, open space standards and retention of the ecological value of the site.
